Description
Respifor is a milk-based, ready-to-use oral nutritional supplement, designed for the dietary management of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), namely chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Respifor is energy dense containing 1.5kcal/ml, high in protein and carbohydrate, and low in fat. Presented in a 125ml bottle, in 3 flavours: Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate.

Indications
For enteral use only. Respifor is GMS/ACBS listed and is available under the Long Term Illness Scheme and Drug Payment Scheme (DPS).

Contraindications
Not for intravenous use. Not suitable for infants and children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

Precautions
Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition in children under 6 years of age.

Directions for use
Respifor is ready to drink and best served chilled. Shake well before use. UHT sterilised.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place (5 - 25ºC). Once opened, Respifor should be consumed within 4 hours or stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Discard unused contents thereafter.
